Privacy Policy

Last updated: 31 October 2026

vClipboard is built to be private by design. This policy explains what data is involved when you use https://vclipboard.com.

What we collect

We do not collect your clipboard contents. Texts, images, PDFs, documents and other items you save in vClipboard are stored only in your own browser using localStorage. They are never uploaded to our servers.

We do not require an account. We do not ask for your name, email, or payment details to use the core tool.

Where your data lives

If you clear your browser data or use another device, those items will not be there. That is intentional.

Third-party scripts

To preview certain file types in the browser, the app may load open-source libraries from public CDNs (for example SheetJS for spreadsheets and Mammoth for Word documents). Those libraries run in your browser. We do not use them to send your file contents to our own servers.

Your browser may still make normal network requests to those CDNs to download the script files. We do not control the privacy practices of those CDN providers.

Cookies and tracking

vClipboard does not use advertising cookies or analytics trackers for profiling. We do not sell data. If this changes in the future, this page will be updated.

External links

The site may link to other websites. We are not responsible for their privacy practices.

Children

The service is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated policy.
